Facebook can scan the face to confirm the account

New features are being introduced to identify the right users on Facebook.  In this way, Facebook will scan the user's face to identify the identity.  Facebook has plans to use this feature to ensure the identity of a user under certain circumstances.

Developer and researcher Jane Manchun Wong recently discovered the new verification system inside the Facebook app.  The new Facebook app has not been released yet.

Wong claims that Facebook will use the identity recognition technology as a facial recognition technology to ask users to hold selfies in various aspects.  If a user submits a picture of the face in a circle, then Facebook will confirm that the account is a real account.  This is basically known as video selfie.  Facebook says no one will see this video selfie.  After 3 days it will be deleted.

With the introduction of the new Facebook feature, many people's concerns about privacy will increase.  Among these, there have been several criticisms against Facebook, including privacy violations, theft of information, and failure to prevent false news.  If you start scanning people's faces in it, it will add more criticism.

However, it is not yet certain whether Facebook will see the face of the light as the video selfie verification process is in its experimental phase.
