Wong claims that Facebook will use the identity recognition technology as a facial recognition technology to ask users to hold selfies in various aspects. If a user submits a picture of the face in a circle, then Facebook will confirm that the account is a real account. This is basically known as video selfie. Facebook says no one will see this video selfie. After 3 days it will be deleted.
With the introduction of the new Facebook feature, many people's concerns about privacy will increase.
